The Home
The home itself is very cool. We moved here from California two years ago and looked at numerous homes (our poor Realtor!) When we walked into this home both my wife and I knew right away this was the home for our family. It was open and airy, the floor plan really worked, it was move in ready, it didn’t have hideous wallpaper and the colors were warm and welcoming. Here are a few things that are cool about this home:
-Pergo flooring in the main living area makes it look classy.
-The master bedroom has a two tier ceiling, with crown molding.
-Big, open windows throughout the home.
-A jelly bean shaped play pool with security fence.
-Large backyard with a huge playhouse and a walk-in wooden storage shed.
-Second largest lot in the subdivision. It’s almost 1/3 of an acre.
-Largest home in the subdivision. Two extra rooms were built upstairs.
-It has five bedrooms, plus an office, plus a bonus room, plus a gameroom.
-Three bay garage with a workbench and cabinets. Plenty of room for tools and knocking out projects.
-Built in shelving in the garage. Storage is not a problem at this house.
-Laundry room right off the garage with clothes rack, sink and cabinets.
-Brand new garage door opener (it’s quiet too). I had them install a stronger motor than is required because I like the extra power.
-Extra storage above the garage with a drop down ladder.
-Wired for surround sound in the living room.
-Office is separated from the rest of the bedrooms. This cuts down on noise from the kids as I work out of my home quite a bit.
-Gas fireplace with logs that don’t burn. Those logs are awesome - no firewood!
-Island in kitchen, walk in pantry, lots of cabinets and counter top space. Kitchen opens to the dining room and main living area, creating an open great room effect.
-Hugenormously monster game room. We have three play systems set up in there: Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo. Our kids love it.
