Scott was very responsive - before even coming to look at our house, he gave us tools to estimate the market value of our house. He then visited with me the next day, and gave us advice on what to fix and replace throughout the house. He offered suggestions as to when we should place the house on the market, and other tips to stage the house. He offered to stage the house for free. During his visits (very casual and comfortable), we discussed the marketing plan, associated costs, and other aspects of selling our home. He scheduled an open house almost immediately. He prepared a very nice virtual tour, and marketed our house on several websites, including the MLS. He even provided us with our own customized website to share with family and friends. Within 6 days in a terrible economy, Scott had our house sold, with several offers - which resulted in getting close to our asking price. Scott also provided a cool tool to help us identify potential new homes for purchase. He drove us around the DFW metroplex in search of our new home. After two weeks of looking at both new and existing homes, we settled with a new one. Scott negotiated the contract price, helped us with the walk through, and offered suggestions for settlement on our new home. I contacted Scott in October and asked him if he would sell my house. He was persistent in getting me to pin down a day to put it on the market which helped me finish all the last minute details. He and I made a joint decision on the selling price that was fair to me and fit the current market.
